The Woodward Chamber of Commerce means business. With over 350 members, the Chamber is organized to advance the commercial, agricultural, industrial, educational and civic interest of Woodward and the surrounding area. The Woodward Chamber of Commerce works to create an environment that promotes a positive socio-economic climate.
Woodward’s access to air, rail and highway transportation makes it a favorable site for manufacturers and service industries. The development of a four-lane highway from Oklahoma City to Woodward is providing an even stronger transportation infrastructure for Northwest Oklahoma. The $350 million project will provide a four-lane economic development corridor from Woodward to Interstate 40.
As one of the Oklahoma’s most dynamic communities, we’re home to a rich heritage of oil and gas development, renewable energy development, world-class agriculture, research, advanced manufacturing and well-funded education. Our growth rate continues to outpace the state’s average. We’re rated on of the nation’s Top 100 places to live; that’s Energy for Life.
The Woodward Industrial Airpark is a fully developed 720-acre facility with all utilities. Sites are available at no cost to qualifying industries. Abundant water, low utility rates, a five-year property tax exemption, and free industrial and pre-employment training are available. The airpark has a rail spur from the main line of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and a concrete jet runway. For more economic development information, contact the Woodward Industrial Foundation at (580) 254-5616 or www.wifok.com.
